Emma Brent was an Advertising Executive in downtown Chicago and she used to take the train every day from her suburban house in Hinsdale to the city. She used to buy media at Joie for her clients and through the years she became great friends with Sabrina Gilmour and Victoria Perkins. She's also the sister of Jordan Finnegan, the Executive Editor of Joie Magazine. Emma married Johnathan Brent right after graduating from Northwestern with a degree in media production. She met John when she was a freshman in college. It was a chance meeting at Lulu's Chinese Restaurant in Evanston. Emma was waiting for Jordan to come, and John happened to be there to pick up his order. He was mesmerized by Emma's girl next door look or would it be English countryside look? Anyway, but he said "hey". The rest is history. John is a Pulmonologist at the Park Ridge General Hospital. They're proud parents of 5 year old Evan and 3 year old Laurel. Emma decided to become a stay at home mom when Laurel was born.
Emma misses her corporate life and career but she absolutely adores her children. She loves to drives her fancy SUV and take her kids to school and their other extra curricular activities. She goes to yoga with Sabrina in the weekends at times. Emma loves camera work, either still and video. She collects camera and takes pictures of her children as a hobby. Emma is a business and money savvy housewife. She often comes across snobbish with her social stature and she likes to only use the best of everything. However, deep down, she's very down to earth and she has a good soul. She loves to do volunteer work at her church when time permits as well as taking cancer patients to chemotherapy when they do not have rides. Emma has a nice figure after giving birth to two babies. However, though she can hold her own, she dresses very conservatively compared to Xandra and Victoria. Thus, why she gets along with Roberta and Sabrina as she can feel comfortable around them. Emma also likes to channel her motherly energy to both Roberta and Sabrina though they're about the same age.
